i listen to some podcasts

yesssss it’s true here are 11 of my current favorite podzzzzz………

The LOUD ABOUT NOTHING guys are fun “cutie boys next door”. They live in NYC and chit chat about local events and give a modern take on ‘being classy’ without being wealthy. They enjoy fashion, sports, pop music, broadway, and comedy improv stuff. I feel like we could be friends. I listen to this one the most- other than the NASCAR shows. They have new episodes weekly and I usually put it on while I wash dishes.

omggggg HAWK VS WOLF has cool guests. I love skate culture. They haven’t posted much in the last 6 months but I hope it comes back.

aw i love Grace and she’s had fun guests on DISGRACEFUL. I enjoy stand up comedy things sometimes…. she had a nasty public split from a previous co-hosted podcast and it’s nice to see her find her own path.

okayyyyyy JUST TRISH is a lil messy but she’s an internet pop culture icon that gets the girls talkinggggg. I don’t listen to this one as much but the sassy bimbo energy can really hit the spot. she’s inspiring tbh.

Jake Shane is also pretty sassy and fun. He’s got a a youthful excited energy that I like but also (probably) depression which I relate to…. THERAPUSS does interviews with mostly celebrity musicians, reality stars, actors, comedians…. tbh this probably targets a slightly younger audience and idk who a lot of the guests are but I’ll check out the episodes if it’s someone I actually recognize….

GIRLS NEXT LEVEL is cool because Holly and Bridget have a long lasting genuine friendship so they have great chemistry. They talk about early 2000’s life at the playboy mansion and get to share their perspective on feminist lifestyles, aging, and being hot. They love holidays, especially halloween, traveling, and haunted stuff. They seem like they would be a lot of fun to hang out with.

NASCAR PODZZZZZZZ:

Omgggggggg I love the Dale Jr Download! Dirty Mo Media gets amazing guest interviews and does frequent updates / commentary on current racing events. Many episodes of this feel Important to racing history and there’s a lot of stories about “the old days” when his dad The Intimidator was around. It’s got chill campfire story-time vibes. And tbh there are many thoughtful nuanced emotional moments in discussion that are healthy examples of southern men communicating effectively and gracefully without losing face.

Amy Earnhardt might be an actual angel. idk. She’s a lovely woman. A funny and beautiful mother of two young girls. She’s someone that’s sassy and feminine but can “hang with the boys” without trying the BE “one of the boys”… if that makes sense? idk. She and Dale have great discussions on Bless Your ‘Hardt and give lighthearted recaps of their family life and how that flows with the racing season.

The next two are surface level very similar…. for weekly NASCAR news updates and opinions I like BREAK HARD and ERIC ESTEPP/OUT OF THE GROOVE.

My final current favorite podcast is THE GAY RACING PODCAST. They’re two young nerdy gay guys that give commentary and opinions on major racing events. I like that they also follow stuff outside of NASCAR like sim racing and F1. They have wonderful interview discussions with people involved in racing but they also have a lot of sassy gossip trash talk sessions. They have good chemistry and are generally pretty lighthearted.
